Abstract Pepper is an essential vegetable commodity in Indonesia. yellow leaf curl disease caused by the infection Begomoviruses tremendous damage to pepper production country. The breeding process through crosses necessary produce Begomovirus resistance material overcome constraint. In this present study, we estimated genetic parameters of hybridized F2 under natural infected conditions. Two C. annuum accessions, BaPep-5 has for pepy-1 (locally called Perintis) and BaPep-4 as a susceptible parent (called Kencana) were crossed progenies. generation from cross much 500 plants transplanted along with 200 each control field. estimation results indicated that high heritability value was found fruit weight per plant (51.31%), number fruits (65.58%), thickness flesh (92.24%), stalk length (52.43%), diameter (96.83%), suggesting these characters have level broad diversity. Moreover, 100% genotypic coefficient variance (GCV) observed plant, flesh, meaning diversity broad. addition, very phenotypic (PCV) criteria diameter, characteristics variety appearances. Conclusively, are values followed GCV PCV which potentially be inherited can used reference selecting further traits.
